Before a children’s event:
- ALWAYS put your phone on SILENT.
- ALWAYS have a wardrobe check
-are zippers up, buttons closed?
- when you bend over make sure underpants and cracks don’t show.
- NEVER park your car in the disabled spot, even if the car park is full. It is better to double park and hand your keys in at the office.
- ALWAYS enter schools/churches with a smile and quietly.
- Make sure you have the school/church CONTACT DETAILS, just in case.
During the assembly:
- ALWAYS respect the people on site and their rules.
- ALWAYS respect the children.
- NEVER laugh at a child, no matter what they say. Remember to always listen.
- NEVER, NEVER scold a child.
- NEVER hug a child. They may want to hug you at the end of an event, so have your puppets ready. They can hug the puppets to their heart’s content.
